TORA® was founded by Toby Strauss—a former pro snowboarder and visual storyteller shaped by the raw aesthetics of surf, skate, and snow culture. Years of travel and immersion in nature led to a clear vision: to craft minimalist jewellery with authenticity, purity, and substance.

Surrounded by nature and raw creativity, the first collection took shape. Influenced by Japanese aesthetics, natural forms, and timeless design, TORA® became a tribute to handcrafted silver—reduced, but never ordinary.

The name TORA—Japanese for tiger—carries grace and power. In Asian culture, the tiger is a guardian of noble things: a symbol of strength, purity, and raw elegance. That energy flows through every piece we create.

We work exclusively with recycled 925 sterling silver—ethically sourced, free from nickel, lead, or other harmful elements. Every piece is crafted in small batches by skilled artisans in Bali: made with care, built to last, and designed to age with beauty.
